  2. Spray Round Up 7 days prior to kill all weeds. (150 mls of ‘Round Up’ to 15 litres of water will do 100m2).
  3. Remove any boulders, debris and weeds format he area and level with a lawn leveller or bobcat
  4. Use an organic top soil/sand/turf underlay mix, spread approximately a 100 to 150mm cover over area and rotary hoe not existing soil layer.
  5. Apply a starter fertiliser before laying.
Laying your Turf
  1. The first step in laying instant turf is to lay a border of turf all around the outside.
  2. Then find your longest run of straight ground and start here, working towards the outside edges in a brick like pattern.
  3. Butt all the edges an ends up close to eah other as you go, this will give you a smoother surface and help stop edges drying out.
  4. A light sanding between the edges of turn after laying will prevent them from drying out especially in temperatures over 30degrees.
  5. Once the entire area is covered is recommended that the turf is rolled level to achieve a flat appearance and encourage the turf to bed into the soil properly.
  6. Water thoroughly, keeping the root zone saturated for two weeks.
